Matthew Kolodoski is a litigation attorney who has successfully represented clients through all phases of trial and appellate proceedings in state and federal courts throughout Texas. His practice focuses primarily on the representation of insurance carriers in all aspects of insurance coverage and extra-contractual litigation. He is a Dallas-based partner at a national litigation firm and one of only seventy-two attorneys who are board certified in Consumer and Commercial Law by the Texas Board of Legal Specialization. 

After graduating from SMU Dedman School of Law, Matthew served as a law clerk for the Honorable Irma C. Ramirez on the U.S. District Court for the Northern District of Texas. Matthew is also active in the local and statewide legal communities. He currently serves on the State Bar of Texas’s Continuing Legal Education (CLE) Committee and on the Council of the Consumer and Commercial Law Section of the State Bar of Texas. He previously served on the Board of Directors of the State Bar of Texas, the State Bar of Texas’s Executive Committee, and on the State Bar of Texas’s Pattern Jury Charge Oversight Committee and Professionalism Committee. He is also a past-Chair of the Civil Liberties & Civil Rights Section of the State Bar of Texas.

Matthew is a frequent speaker at legal seminars, where he speaks on a variety of litigation, insurance law, and constitutional law topics. Matthew has been repeatedly recognized as a Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch, Texas Super Lawyers: Rising Star, and D Magazine: Best Lawyers Under 40.
